Terms and Condition for participating in the Awards and Gala

  1. By ‘HR People Magazine Awards  is organised by HR People Magazine and Partners.
  2. All submissions for the HR People Magazine Awards must be completed and uploaded via the online system by the confirmed closing date.
  3. Entry deadlines may be extended at the discretion of the organisers.
  4. All nominated organisations agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and accept no correspondence, telephone, email or communication of any kind will be entered in relation to decisions reached.
  5. All materials submitted in support of an entry is warranted by the entrant to be their property.
  6. All submitted documents should have a copy kept by the nominee.
  7. Organisers reserve the right to request a copy of the submitted documents and materials.
  8. You indemnify and agrees to keep indemnified, the organisers of the HR People Magazine Awards for any claims arising out of any material, statements or claims made as part of their entry.
  9. The nominees agree that should they be short-listed for an Award they will provide  representative/s to attend the award ceremony to accept the trophy/plaque should they be successful on the night. All entrants and finalist should book a seat/table to attend the event.
  10. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw a company from the shortlist at their own discretion and without discourse to the entrant.
  11. Permission is granted to the organisers to use any winner’s photographs, video, sound, written or other material as it sees fit and without restriction.
  12. Submissions received without the prerequisite information will be deemed invalid and withdrawn from the Awards.
  13. HR People Magazine Awards reserves the right to withdraw an entry from the judging process at any time if the submission is deemed inappropriate for any reason.
  14. The organisers reserve the right not to award a category at its own discretion and without recourse to the nominees of said category.
  15. The contact person named on the submitted form will be used as the point of contact by the HR People Magazine Awards.
  16. If the name of the nominated contact person changes, HR People Magazine Awards must be informed immediately.
  17. Short-listed organisations or candidate may be required to provide additional information upon request from HR People Magazine Awards/Judges
  18. Judges cannot award any marks on the submission of the company they work for, have a relationsip with or worked for.
  19. The Award Category Sponsor cannot be nominated for the category they are sponsoring.
  20. The winners of the awards may state in advertising, promotional material and on their stationery that they are a winner, but they must clearly state which category and the year in which they won.
  21. HR People Magazine Awards and all its Intellectual Property remains the sole copyright of HR People Magazine and is a solely owned trading entity of Maplewood Global Resources Limited, all rights reserved.
  22. HR People Magazine Award winners are expected to share ideas and best practices with participants and finalist when requested. This request must be honoured. A refusal may result in withdrawal of the award.
  23. HR People Magazine Awards can withdraw an Award from any winner if it was discovered that false information was provided in there submission
  24. HR People Magazine Awards can withdraw your award if it discovered that you or your organisation’s conduct is deemed fraudulent or against humanity. E.g support war crimes or slavery. Found guilty of fraud.
  25. By participating in the awards implies that you agree with the terms and condition of the Awards
